When I was growing up, it was one of my ambitions to be that girl who was just as likely to wear a skirt as pants on a regular day (hey, I had other ambitions too!). I'm proud to say I've accomplished it. Let's say this is one of your ambitions. The trick is to eschew fancy skirts and go for the casual ones that you're not afraid to get dirty and match with everything. They may not be the feminine look you dreamed of, but they're cute and functional. It's the skirt's answer to the jean.
