I have a closet full of the neutral-est neutrals there are. Black, brown, gray, white, a bunch of dark purple tossed in, usually paired with some kind of denim. (No problem with colorful shoes, although to be fair the only color I've diversified to is red, and I think I officially have too many pairs of red shoes [cowboy boots, wedges, rain boots, everything else is black or brown, I know, I know]). I've been trying really hard to reach over to the reds and yellows and pinks and greens when I see a piece I like. You think this is non-neutral enough to qualify?
